Qsirch provides blazing fast search results under Windows 11 file explorer incl. content search.
Unfortunately people incl. me can’t access search results located in their home/ folder. Reason: These paths follow the homes/<username>/ schema instead of home/.
Does anyone experience the same issue or does it work for someone any can share how you solved it?
Afaik it’s intented that people can’t access files via the homes/ folder directly by default. So the search results shouldn’t be provided with homes/<username>/ schema imo.
I’ve contacted the support several months ago. The ticket got escalated but I didn’t hear any news since then.
btw I gave it a try to grant access to the homes/ folder (w/o applying the access to subfolders) and users own homes/<username> folders, individually. This resulted in anyone having access to any homes/. oO
