If I add RSS feeds to Download Station 5, check “Enable RSS Download”, and select “Check update every 12 hours”, is it supposed to automatically download files from RSS feeds that I have? Because although it discovers new episodes have been added to the RSS feed, it doesn’t actually start the download. The RSS feed in Download Station just shows them in “Status: New”.
- Your Operating System you are using to access your NAS: Windows 11
- NAS model: TVS-473
- Firmware Version/Build numbers - not just “The latest”: 5.2.7.3256
- Network Setup (ie Single Port or Port Trunking): Single port
You have a container and VM capable NAS, if you want automatic downloads …see these

Thanks! So you’re saying Download Station doesn’t do that, and the only point of RSS support is to save you a few clicks as you manually start downloads?
I haven’t used download station in a decade+, but if you cannot find automation functions…they probably do not exist

The only point is really to be able to say in marketing material that there is a torrent client that has RSS capabilities. There are many examples of similar items, across many devices and vendors, where rudimentary and severely limited functionality is provided for marketing reasons.
If you don’t mind, you can send me your RSS link via private message, and we can help you test it out. Thanks!
