Enabling SmartUpload from USB Port

I recently re-formatted my NAS drive to clear down unwanted data. I now want to upload 100’s of Gb from USB drives, but I cannot find the setting to enable SmartUpload from the front USB port. Can anyone point me to the correct place to set this up again please?

NAS Type = TS-421U

Never heard of SmartUpload before. Can you describe what you’d like the software to-do?

Do you mean Smart Import ?

HBS3 > Services > External Devices > USB One Touch Copy > Operating Mode > Smart Import

Hi, thanks for responding, I was looking for the setting to be able to plug a USB drive into the front port and for it to automatically upload the contents without further intervention.

Hi,

HBS Smart Upload is good but creating a one-way sync job with Auto-backup option can much more fulfill you need. Maybe you can try it.
