Failed NAS update

Dear QNAP/community,

I am trying to update NAS firmware, but the update fails with following log

Error	2025-10-14	00:11:37	---	---	localhost	---	Firmware Update	Firmware Update	[Firmware Update] Failed to update system from version 5.1.5.2679 to 5.1.9.2954. A flash read/write error occurred. Error code: FW013

Did anyone have a similar problem and managed to resolve it?

Our setup is:

  • system: TVS-872XT
  • firmware version: QTS 5.1.5.2679

If rebooting the NAS does not help, you might have a broken DOM.
