Hi Community,
I’m facing an issue while trying to install the Virtualization Station app on our NAS. After the application downloads and the installation process begins, the NAS automatically restarts before the installation completes.
I monitored system resources during the installation, and both CPU usage (max 50%) and memory usage (max 20%) stayed within reasonable limits — so it doesn’t seem to be a resource-related issue.
I also checked the event logs from QuLog Center and found the following message:
File system not clean. Volume: Volume2, Storage pool: 1. Run a file system check.
I completed the file system check as recommended and tried installing the application again, but the issue still persists.
Our setup:
- Operating System used to access NAS: Ubuntu
- NAS Model: TS-873AeU-RP
- Firmware Version/Build: QTS 5.2.4.3079
- Drive Configuration: RAID6
Has anyone experienced a similar issue or have suggestions on what could be causing the NAS to restart during this specific app installation?
If there are any specific logs or system files I should review for further debugging, I’d appreciate any pointers.
Thank you in advance!
