I originally ordered a DS423+ and realized my WD201KFGX is not supported. It’s been returned and my TS464 will be here tomorrow. I will add more drives and set up raid for backups later.
I had also purchased a crucial 16gb single ddr4 sodimm and would like to k ow if I can use that in the 464?
My use case is plex transcoding and serving music and family photos. I have a Dell rack server with dual Xeon running proxmox also on the network. It will run the plex lxc and the 464 will only share files. I’m assuming I can mount the pool to the proxmox server like any other drive.
Is thwre any other hardware upgrades I need?
