a very quick look shows it is the same zip files they link, at least the filename is the same
I can confirm the newly released image file checksums are identical to the previous ones (for all my NAS). So, it seems no changes were made. Which means: the issues mentioned earlier in this topic will still exist.
Typically I would prefer the other way: first ensure stabiltiy and quality and then release a version.
Otherwise you should sell bananas: product is matured by customer.

Thank you for your inquiry. Yes, the version that has been re-released is the same as the one previously withdrawn.
The temporary withdrawal was simply because we wanted to double-check its performance in certain specific scenarios. To ensure everyone’s user experience, we decided to perform an extra round of quality verification.
We have now completed all checks. We will continue to optimize our quality assurance processes to provide a more stable user experience. Thank you for your understanding!
Thank you Steve.
Better communication from QNAP about these issues would be much appreciated. ![]()
Now it has been re-released, will it start to appear when checking for new firmware in Control Panel? I see it on the website, but not there (only the latest Beta 6.0.0 release shows up as an optional update)
Updated my TS-364. The NAS and all Apps are running correctly.
Hi Steve, Can we expect more AI features in a future release of QTS?
What are you looking for as far as AI features? There’s features built into apps like QMagie, Qsirch, the video apps (QVR Pro, QVR Surveillance, etc)…
i received a notification a week ago i check the firmware two days after, no new firmware found, now it appeared again. So they pulled it up and make changes? can people that installed the “new” one (laste 24hours) confirm about the errors or problems.
Apparently, it is the same exact build. They pulled it to check something but those checks all passed so they re-released it. All good.
Users have many problems though, since it re-appear yesterday i will wait a week or so
Where do you see problems reported? I’m running it on my TS-451 and I have no issues…
on this thread.
Most people in the thread say they are running with no issues. Other than the fact that it stopped my QVR Surveillance app and didn’t restart it, I am having no problems. Seems others are having no issues either. @Krispy stated they were having some issues but I think that was it. Not sure if they got their issues sorted.
