Is Qumagie face recognition broken?
Has been working quite well up to a few months ago but now it just assigns a select few names to every image it sees. For example, I can add a photo of a crowd of people taken at a soccer game in Argentina. Qumagie will then assign my name to about 10 of the people in the crowd. It will also assign my wife’s name to another bunch of people in the crowd. Our son and daughter will also be assigned to multiply people in the crowd. This makes for a whole bunch of editing, clicking on each person and saying “I don’t know this person”. None of the incorrectly tagged people look anything like me or my family and none of us have ever been to Argentina! Plus, even if we had been at the game, surely there would only be 1 of us in the crowd!
Needless to say it’s making Qumagie hardly worth using at the moment. Is it a known issue that is getting addressed or has my database got confused and needs to be reset?
The thought of typing in all those initial names again is not a pleasant thought.
