The focus of this update is on new detection tasks and an optimized setup process to make your security surveillance even more precise and user-friendly.
Security Upgrade: New “Area Intrusion” Task!
Whether for the protection of homes, industrial facilities, or commercial areas – our new “Area Intrusion” feature takes your surveillance to a new level: from passive recording to proactive alerting.
- Core advantage: You can define individual “restricted zones” tailored to your environment. As soon as a person enters the predefined area, the system immediately triggers an alarm – for true real-time prevention.
- Application scenarios: Ideal for garden fences, warehouse entrances, or display cases that require high vigilance. This way, you can instantly monitor unauthorized access.
Note: This feature requires Surveillance 3.0.1 or higher.
Optimized Setup Process: Intuitive Interaction Design
We know that user-friendliness is just as important as precision. That’s why we’ve improved the interaction flow in the task assistant to make AI configuration as easy as possible.
- Zone Overlap Warning: To ensure the effectiveness of the detection logic, the system now proactively warns you when drawn polygons overlap or intersect. This prevents logical conflicts and ensures your surveillance areas are optimally utilized.
- Improved Setup Assistant: We have optimized the text instructions in the assistant. Even NAS beginners can now complete professional detection settings in no time thanks to clear guidance.
