Not only whether a person enters a specific area, but also “how long they stay” is a key indicator for spotting abnormal behavior or understanding space usage.
With the new “Area Stay” detection task in the QVR Human 2.6 series, you can track not just “where a person is,” but also “how long they stay” in a given area.
- Monitor unusual stays in real time: Detect how long a person stays in a specified area, and issue real-time alerts if set conditions are met. Administrators can quickly spot suspicious or abnormal situations.
- See stay time trends at a glance: View reports showing stay durations and trends, enabling event analysis beyond single alerts.
- For both security and business use: In addition to security applications like warehouses and restricted areas, retailers can identify areas where customers linger, helping optimize store flow and layouts.

The “Area Intrusion” detection feature introduced in previous versions has been further improved. In QVR Human 2.6, related data is integrated into Overview and Reports screens. You can now see not only real-time event status, but also long-term trends.
- Quickly spot event status: View area intrusion statistics from the Overview screen to get an immediate grasp of current events.
- Analyze long-term intrusion trends: Use reports and visual graphs to compare event changes across time periods, supporting subsequent security management and decision-making.
Improved usability and system stability
Besides new features, QVR Human 2.6 series brings several enhancements in detection settings, user workflows, and system stability.
