I thought I would ask here before I open yet another ticket with QNAP support.
I’m doing a snapshot replica between NAS units with and one of my storage spaces is failing with the transfer. I am seeing the following error in the logs
I’m not sure what they mean by the remote can’t receive an incremental stream. I’ve got plenty of storage space on both the remote machine (36 TB total storage) and I have things set to delete the snapshots if there’s too many. All my other replicas seem to be working OK. This one was working but it’s failing over the last week.
Dear @NA9D
To investigate the issue further could you please provide us the snapshot of your system as shown in the screenshot I have attached.
Thank you.
I had (have) exactly the same problem trying to to do Snapshot replica between two QNAP NAS on the same LAN both connected to the same switch.
I opened a ticket with QNAP and guess what they suggested; Try a Cat7 Ethernet cable! How stupid do they think I am ?!?
Kinda hard when one of my units is connected via fiber.
It reminds me of how they used to tell me my memory was the problem because it was not QNAP memory. But then I ran a memory test and proved it wasn’t. They have never mentioned memory since…
Thank you @NA9D I have seen the screenshots and would like to request you to kindly raise a support ticket so that our support team can get debug logs. ( Customer Service - QNAP ) Thank you.
