Hello,
I have noticed that most probably after the last update to my TS-531P Storage and Snapshots show 0 drives. I tried to reboot, power down etc. and nothing helps, I see all volumes, the NAS apart from that functions properly, there are no error in the logs.
Any idea what this could be?
You memory is also not showing right (–/8GB usable)
Tried to reinstall your current firmware, if no newer ine is available?
Yes, I have also noticed that. When I go to Resources Monitor, memory is displayed properly…
I can’t reinstall current firmware, it stuck on 30%.
I logged in with SSH and dmesg shows a lot of errors, not sure if this is related.
[ 1619.571434] i2c_designware fd880000.i2c-pld: controller timed out

That error sounds like an issue where the firmware polls an LCD screen, but your NAS does not have one.
Have you tried the manual SSH method for the firmware ?
This is the output from command line:

Sounds a like a busted flash, sadly not swappable on your NAS.
Best to open a ticket, but you probably are looking at several hundred bucks of repair costs (new NAS might be cheaper)
Damn… What’s the current-generation QNap NAS equivalent to this one? Can I move the disks from this unit to a new one and expect everything to work?
Migration gudie and compatibility is here
Make sure you always have backups (many tears will be avoided that way)
I would upgrade to a x86 model. Like a TS-462 or TS-464
Thank you, I really appreciate your quick responses.
