The best practice to allow continuous Active Synchronization backup from OneDrive to QNAP-HBS3

Folks,

What is the supported way to setup the Active Sync backup from OneDrive to QNAP-HBS3?

Because from the screenshot below, it can only take a simple Username and Password.

The login session is limited to just 7 days for my company security settings, hence the backup job failed weekly for re-authentication process.

How to set it up so it can continuously backup or at least longer period like 180 days or 365 days minimum?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello regarding the price why not use qnap cloud storage ? Is it for regulatory purpose in your country or for the fact that passing through qnap cloud in taiiwan is verry slow ?

On my side for peronal use i have qsync configure between my Nas and one drive but not over 200 Gb.

Have you scheduled it for Real-Time Synchronisation ?

No, it is not the pricing, but the regulatory purpose that all of my data must be backed up OnPremise locally.

@Richard ,
Do you mean like this is already working correctly ?

Yes. Even if you temporarily go offline or switch off the NAS it should automatically restart syncing when an internet connection is reestablished. I don’t think there’s much you can do if your company changes the password regularly except recreate the sync job.

@Richard ,
Can I still retry the same job to continue where it was left before the password changed ?

Sure. Just click on “Sync Now”, or “Stop” followed by “Sync Now” - where your image shows “Stop”. Success is not guaranteed.

Thank you, @Richard
