Hello, i think you should wait with the update. There are many problems with QuTShero 6.0. Important Notes To ensure system security, starting from h6.0.0, QuTS hero no longer allows firmware downgrade.

I will wait with the update.

But with a new NAS, you could do the update.

Important Notes
To ensure system security, starting from h6.0.0, QuTS hero no longer allows firmware downgrade. Only the QNAP-support can do that.
