I noticed that sometimes the keyboard didn’t work in bios or grub
I found that if I replugged it, that would often sort the issue. But not always.
I think I noticed that the USB stick didn’t always work and sometimes had to move it around?
I imaged the stick on linux. I tried cli and gui. CLI I ran mkfs.fat -F 32 /dev/sda. And I used pop os Disks to set it bootable. I also tried only using Disks and set the partition type to Win95 FAT32 (LBA) 0x0c.
