TS-464 updating firmware but system claims it's a downgrade

Hello,

Upon attempting to upgrade the firmware on my NAS with the latest QTS firmware update(5.2.10.3577 Build 20260731) it warns me that downgrading my system has many inherent risks. However my system is currently running QTS 5.2.9.3451. Everything else is working well at the moment and have no other issues. I’m likely going to ignore this update and wait another 6 months but this seemed strange to me and I’m not certain what the fault could be.

Specific details of my setup: TS-464, 4 WD Red drives, 2 cache 1tb nvme drives. I use windows 11 primarily to access the dashboard over 2.5gb ethernet. The only recent change was that I installed a 10gbe addon card last winter but had no issues.

I’ve attempted both automatic and manual updates and keep having the same warnings show up.

This is a known issue, and was fixed in a later build (3492).

You can accept the warning and upgrade anyway.

As discussed above, this is a known issue that occurred in the initial release of 5.2.9. Please feel free to proceed with the upgrade, and if you run into any issues, don’t hesitate to contact us. Thanks!
