Since I upgraded to QuTS h6.0 I do get this notification where it says App center has an update, even when there isn’t an update available. There seems to be connection with update.qnap.com as firmware updates and actual app updates are coming in.
I have already synced the time settings in several ways and deleted cache as per the following page: What shoud I do if App Center fails to list the apps? | QNAP
Does anybody know a fix for this or is this a bug?
NAS: TVS-H474
FW: QuTS hero h6.0.0.3500
Could you please share a screenshot of the notification you mentioned? Thanks!
It is solved. Apparently I did not properly empty the cache of App Center described in the following link: What shoud I do if App Center fails to list the apps? | QNAP
Great to hear that the issue has been resolved! Thank you so much for the update. Could you please share how you cleared the cache?
I might have picked the wrong words. It’s probably not cache but App Center files that might have gone corrupted.
This is the procedure:
App Center related files corrupted
-
ssh access to the NAS
-
run the following command rm /etc/config/rssdoc/*
-
Logout and Login QTS as an administrator
-
Open App center to check if the issue persists.
