Using MediaInfo utility on QNAP?

Can someone please please explain how to use the ‘MediaInfo’ utility on my QNAP? Can it be integrated into File Station 5? Looking for a way to quickly look at media files to see video and audio codex information. Thank you.

Have you tried to install it ? (if no GUI available, it might be CLI only)

Yes, mediainfo is CLI-only.

Thanks for the clarification. Was hoping it could be integrated into right click context menu in File Station.

It’s a good idea, but a bit too-advanced for the UI. :wink:
