I did it!
PLEX works fine on my QNAP NAS, Apple TV, and Mac Book M2.
First of all, I removed the PLEX application on the NAS and installed the new version of the firmware. Then, I re-installed the PLEX app on my NAS and loaded the media library.
Eventually, I reinstalled PLEX on my Mac and Apple TV and checked to see if the content was accessible and I could play the videos. This is the case.
Another thing. I set the QuFirewall to Basic so as not to prevent the connection and made sure that my Eset Security application allowed Plex and that McAfee antivirus was not a problem
