I have an 873e.
One of the disks had a ‘warning’ on it so i ordered a new disk today.
However, this afternoon, it started acting crazy. I can get as far as this screen, but it won’t let me load any application.
Should i attempt to install the new disk to see if that will rectify the problem or is there some kind of reset i can do?
What disk models are these ? … disks with missing TLER or even worse SMR could lock up the whole system (pulling the defective drive might fix the state)
It’s in raid 6. I know which drive is the bad one (drive 8)
OK, the question of the disk model was not answered though…
Pull the busted drive then
