My TS-433 complains that " Some features are unavailable because no destination volume has been configured. Go to [here] to configure a destination volume for storing logs.". However, when I try to do so I get the “A service exception occurred. (500)” error…
Out of the blue?..Never worked right?
What history are we looking at here?
It’s weird, logging actually works - even though it’s not configured, I can see for example smb access connections. But it looks like it was never properly configured
Hi @MoshePupkin
To help us understand your situation better, could you please tell us:
- Which app (QPKG) are you currently operating in? Is it Qulog?
- What specific actions are you performing?
- If possible, could you provide a screenshot?
These details will greatly assist us in diagnosing the issue. Thanks!
Qlog!? I can’t find such an app. I’m using QuLog Center:
- Open QuLog
- Go to Access Log
- See " Some features are unavailable because no destination volume has been configured. Go to [here] to configure a destination volume for storing logs." message
- Go to Log Settings
- See “log data location is empty”
- Select a volume (it shows more than 1T free space)
- Click Apply
- Get " [A service exception occurred. (500)]" error
QNAP supported help me resolve this. This is what did the trick:
/etc/init.d/qulog.sh force-stop
rm -rf /etc/config/qulog
qpkg_service start qulog
