I would like to add M.2 modules to my TX-x73 but I find a huge list of different modules. Does any one has any experiance with adding M.2 modules for a reasonable price and max capacity? (I have bought M.2 before and ths TX-x73 doenst start at all) Phhhh
Always say the full name of your NAS WITH bay count
Lets say you have the 4 bay TS-473
https://www.qnap.com/en/product/ts-473/specs/hardware
The m.2 bays are SATA, so do not make the common mistake and buy NVMe disks for this NAS!
The compatibility list also has m.2 SATA disks that will work in your NAS
And make sure you add if it’s an “A” version or not.
The TS-473 is much different than the TS-473A. The “A” version has NVMe support…
My model is a TS x73, I don’t see an “A”.
Then my post provides all the clues you need
