Annoying phantom message on Notice Board

I get messages on the Notice Board when there are updates to various applications in App Centre, which is a helpful function.
You can normally clear these messages, once you have completed the update(s).
However, there’s a message from 3 days ago Required Updates Available which won’t clear and the More Details link doesn’t work, because there are no more updates available, as they were all updated, 3 days ago.
It’s not causing a problem, other than the notification flag never clears, just leaving a 1 on the icon, it’s just annoying.

Is anyone else seeing this?
How do I clear, other than restarting the system?

I have received similar things for updates to Hybrid Desk Station after I had stopped using Hybrid Desk Station and it wasn’t running. Maybe you have a similar situation? I fixed it by deleting all the Hybrid Desk Station apps completely.

Have you refreshed your browser tab? I have had this issue and refreshing the tab fixes it.

Yes, browser refreshed.

Even logged in from another client, and it’s still there.

The 1 count is there because the message is there.

The issue is the message can’t be dismissed.

Not worth the effort and certainly doesn’t justify opening up remote access to diagnose.

I just wondered if anyone had had this before, especially recently, if a reboot cleared it.

Raising a ticket does not mean opening remote access. And it’s not a big effort ~

Anyway, I am never checking the Notice Board, don’t really see the need for it at the moment :sweat_smile:

I had something similar with an update of SMB. I had to reboot to clear it.

I have seen this before, but they disappear after updating the app and logging out/into the QTS desktop

This morning there were 2 messages on the Notice Board, both relating to Security Centre, starting and completing a check, which I acknowledged, so they went away, leaving the |board clear - no more annoying phantom message that won’t clear.
I didn’t do anything special, and had already tried logging off/on, even from another PC, which hadn’t done anything, until this morning fixed itself….
