I’ve gotten this error several times in recent days in response to NAS periodic auto-checks for updates; on November 6 from one of my three QNAP NASs, and last night on all three NASs. There are no issues with my broadband connection, and when I subsequently go into the NAS GUI and manually check for updates all seems to work well. I’m therefore guessing that QNAP’s “cloud” update server is just having transient connectivity issues, but regardless wanted to post this as a FYI for QNAP and to see if anyone else is experiencing it…
This appears to be a temporary phenomenon that you can safely ignore for now.
