problem in Qumagie 2.9.3 : After identifying a person in several photo’s, the thumbnail of this album is still the generic avatar.
I tried to find a new picture of the same person or removed the person and I get the correct thumbnail. But when merging two albums of the same person , the profile photo (thumbnail) is remains the generic avatar, even though one of the albums contains a clear photo of the person.

Hi @etiennem I have try to merge 2 Album on my QuMagie 2.9.3 / Multimedia Console 2.10.4 / AI Core 3.7.1 but it shows the cover thumbnail (profile photo) normally that I did not reproduce this issue.
I think set a photo as the cover in QuMagie or regenerate all thumbnail in Multimedia Console may be workaround, but if you can go to QNAP Customer Server website and apply a ticket for our support team to arrange a remote connection that our development can help to check the root cause on your QuMagie.
