Backing up with NetBak PC Agent / HDP

New to using NAS and have recently purchased a used TS-251+ (RAID1 with 4TB drives) to learn more about NAS before migrating to a 4-bay system. Running QTS 5.2.4.3105. I will be using this system for BU only for seven PCs running Win 11. Currently experimenting with NetBak PC Agent (1.2.5) + HDP (2.2.0) as a choice for BU software after using Acronis for many years in a non-NAS environment.
I am finding the documentation for NetBak/HDP to be quite sparse, leaving some open questions:

  1. Does NetBak/HDP have a validation option (or equivalent) to check the BU for corruption after creation?
  2. What conditions must be satisfied for NetBak to run and start a BU job on a specific PC? IOW, under what conditions can NetBak start a BU job? From shutdown, from sleep, or must the PC be running, etc?

I am pleasantly surprised at how well this setup is working overall, with no significant issues encountered to date, especially for someone completely new to NAS, QNAP, etc. Easy to get to the point of creating BUs and restoring folders/files; haven’t yet tried a bare metal restore but will do so soon. Now trying to refine this setup to do hands off BU’s on a schedule, ideally with each computer being in shutdown except when being used or running a BU. I am experimenting with Wake On LAN technology to support this but not sure this is necessary.
A pointer to relevant documentation or other guidance appreciated.

My biggest disappointment with NetbakPC can’t wake my computers to do scheduled jobs. This is probably not QNAP’s fault. To wake PC’s from the deeper versions of sleep I think NetbakPC would have to run in ring 0. Microsoft only lets a few do this. If your computers support wake on lan (most of ours don’t) you can wake them that way.
