Backup VM to CIFS share on Synology

I have Virtualization Station installed on my QNAP Tvs-h1688X and i would like to send the backup to my other NAS which is Synology. I have installed HybridMount to map a folder to the Synology NAS and i am able to create folder but when trying to backup VM from Virtualization Station i get a permission denied.

If you use the direct CIFS connection from the "Data protection’ section in VMStation, what happens then ? (UI mentions remote QNAP devices, so it might look for a specific service)

The other device is a Synology so this option will not work, i have access to the remote share on my Qnap in Filestation

I tried the same with a windows SMB share and had the same result.
So you apparently can only do local backups on disk or external USB device (I do VM backups to a USB connected SSD)
After the backup is done you can then sync the files to another NAS via HBS3
