Brand new NAS (TS-464) and I can't even log in 😹

Longtime Synology user here who just switched to QNAP. I know my way around NASes, so this is really frustrating — and a little embarrassing.

Brand-new TS-464 (4x WD Red Pro 4TB HDs), seems to boot perfectly into QTS 5.2.1.2930, visible to QFinder Pro, on a Netgear Nighthawk MR-60 mesh network (running only one node at the moment).

I’ve tried all kinds of logins:

admin1 / adminXXXX — printed on a sticker on the side
admin1 / [blank]
admin1 / admin1

admin / blank
admin / XXXXXXXXXXXX (MAC1, confirmed from sticker on device and QFinder)
admin / XX-XX-XX-XX-XX-XX (because why not try it?)
admin / admin

…and more. None work. The QR code on the device sticker leads to a URL with the correct cloud key in the URL, but that doesn’t work. I’ve tried that in several browsers — none worked. What can I do?!

You need to use the cloudkey
