Clipboard to copy and paste for Virtualization Station

Please, please, can you add a clipboard to Virtualization Station so we can copy/paste?

Could you please provide us with the exact usage scenario and your specific requirements?

Once we have these details, I can submit them to our internal team for evaluation. Thanks!

When loading a virtual machine by launching web console, the web console works great but unable to use a clipboard/copy+paste since it is not passing through. From what I can tell, this is a flavor of web based VNC client.

For example, NoVNC (web based VNC client) supports it and other implementations of browser-based Remote Desktop clients have that support. “Clipboard copy/paste with full Unicode support” Or using the sidebar to add a clipboard function, the same sidebar used for resolution change, function keys, screen capture, etc. In short, some way to have copy and paste ability to the virtual machine while using the browser client.

It would be wonderful to see this added to Virtualization Station!

Thanks and hope to see this feature!

YES! Agreed. It is very frustrating that you cannot pass copy and paste into the VM via the web connection.

Please vote for your own suggestion too!

Thanks for the suggestion!

We will take this into evaluation and may include this functionality in a future version release. Much appreciated!

Thanks for listening, QNAP team!

I just realized, Browser Station is a good example since it has a workable copy and paste clipboard to use between the host and the browser session. It is not the best since it doesn’t pass through without a middle step of using the pop-up text box, but better than none at all.

Maybe a new implementation for both Virtualization Station and Browser Station? Wishful thinking? My first ever request for a feature
