As stated in the subject, if anyone knows how to update the LXD repository URL in Container Station 2.6.8.125, I would appreciate your guidance.
I contacted support and was told that an upgrade to Container Station 3 is necessary, but it cannot be done with the current firmware.
I am also using another older QNAP NAS, which is not eligible for an upgrade to QTS 5 series, so I cannot update the firmware to version 5 for backward compatibility.
What I want to do is use Ubuntu’s latest LTS, 24.04, but with the standard Container Station images, only up to 18.04 is available, and LXC image support has been discontinued, so I am considering using LXD images.
I tried adding the repository from the official LXD page, but it does not seem to be working properly (at least it is not reflected in the Web GUI), so I am looking for other possible methods.
