I have deleted 2 shared folders from “Control Panel > Shared Folders” but I have not deleted the data, so even though I don’t see them in File Station they are still taking up space. How can I delete them?
You can SSH into the NAS and get rid of with command line or use a SFTP even for a non command line way. Those are easy way IMO but there are more as well
Thanks for your response. I’ve tried connecting with Filezilla, but only the active shared folders appear; the ones I deleted don’t appear. Do you have any instructions on how to connect to the NAS via SSH? I’m not familiar with either the command line or Linux.
1 you must enabling SSH on the NAS

2 There is a help
I use the real “admin” for SSH
Or just recreate the shares (manual option) and delete them again, this time WITH the option to delete the files.
