Disable Drive Standby/Hibernation: For best performance and drive longevity, turn off disk standby in Control Panel > System > Hardware > Disk Standby.

enable automatically

fan mode

performance profile

in system .

grac

also it would be great to make system automaticslly activate performance mode fan profile in system

in addition to appearence in system

  • additional expantion cards
  • ssd drives and-or large hdd drives over 16tb

Thanks for your suggestion! Currently, the fan speed is automatically adjusted based on temperature.

May we ask why you’d like to control the fan based on drive status? Are you experiencing any specific issues? Also, could you let us know your NAS model?

Regarding your suggestion to display additional expansion cards — is there a particular use case or application you have in mind?

dont know why there is no article about suggestions to activate performance fan mode profile in system.

there if no air flow parameters information that prodused by any fan mode settings so there is no method to control system cooling performance.

every system configuration use default cooling profile w automatic parameters with air performance no one know and they far from optimal perfomance on a system with high performance and high load conditions.

suggestion would be usefull in high load systems operation that would upgrade system performance and or slow down nearing overheat incomming of high performanse cards and drives.

Understood, I’ll pass on your suggestions to the relevant internal team. Thanks for the detailed explanation!
