Is my Qnap 451+ compatible with any facial recognition app? I have 16 gigabytes of memory, and I’d like to use some facial recognition method to trigger an automation and open my front door through Home Assistant. Is this possible?
The TS451 is just not powerful enough to do this job well. It’s an old NAS and it is way underpowered for this. You may be able to use QMAgie to do some facial recognition with your 451 but it will be VERY slow.
