Drive Mapping TS659 Pro+

I have a Qnap TS659 Pro+ NAS with OS 4.2.6.20240108. This is the latest firmware. Now I can no longer create a network drive within my Windows 11 Pro environment. I do get a WebDAV connection, but I don’t see any folders in the shared folder.

I installed the SMB services (client + server) on my laptop. I’ll have also an older Qnap Nas (2-bay) and there i can make a netwerkdrive on it and it works fine.

SMB services should be your default, why use WebDAV?

I think they are saying that SMB isn’t working but WebDAV is…

Then I would start with a visit to the shell and issue smb2status to check what is going on and configured

Here is how that looks like on my TS-853BU

[~] # smb2status

smbd (samba daemon) Version 4.15.13
smbd (samba daemon) is running.
max protocol SMB 3 enabled.

Could you please try resetting the Windows Credential Manager by following this FAQ and see if it helps?
