I think memory optimizers, including dynamic memory allocation and memory deduplication. are not worki g properly on my virtualization station.
My NAS is a TS-453Dmini with 12GiB RAM, running on QTS 5.2.4. Virtualization station version is 4.0.0.270.
I have a few freshly-installed Ubuntu 24.04 VMs with dynamic memory allocation and deduplication on. When I start them on, the “memory saved” value in virtualization station UI just always shows 0. No matter how many VMs are running, the total memory amount from “free” command in each VM never changes.
Is this feature running good on your NAS? If yours are working well could you show me your config and the clue that you find it working?
