What is the purpose of this setting below ?

When it is enabled, the available LUN will be reduced by the above amount, but what is that for?
Because the 2x HDD has been set as RAID-1 anyway.

Space that is guaranteed for snapshots and not available for storage

and explanation is right below that setting

Basically, guaranteed snapshot space is reserved for snapshots. If you don’t reserve space or reserve a smaller percentage, then when your disk fills up, you won’t be able to keep as many (or any) snapshots.

It’s a personal choice for how much you wish to use.
