Hello!
I have a massive problem with my Qnap. I can no longer access the Internet with my Windows 10 via my Visualision Station because I supposedly have no IP over the network. I always get the error message: ‘Ethernet does not have a valid IP configuration’. I have also tried to create a new IP via Windows - but it doesn’t work! Now I thought that it might have something to do with the settings on my Qnap.
Thanks for the answer! My macOS showed me that the IP under which I am connected to the Qnap is already being used by another device. I then restarted my Netgear switch. I’ve had the problem ever since. I have now updated the Qnap firmware to the latest version. I am also up to date with the visualisation station. And yes. Since then I have made several attempts to get the Qnap working again in conjunction with Windows.
