External RAID Manager - No Devices found, yet my TR-004 is connected through USB

I have a TR-004 connected directly as a DAS to my Macbook with the M2 Pro. I can mount the drive just fine, but when I open External RAID Manager, all I get is “No Devices Found”.

It worked fine on my old Intel-based iMac. Any ideas why this is happening now?

Check with QNAP support if M2 silicon is supported by that app.

I solved it. After days of trying, it was terribly easy.

For some reason, the application had not asked me to give it full disk access, but upon re-launching it for the umpteenth time today, it gave me a notice that I needed to give it full disk access. Upon doing so, the TR-004 popped up.
