I am on Media Console 2.10.3 and QTS 5.2.9.3499. The face reclustering background process seems to never end.
The numbers shown suggest it won’t stop. It’s gone way past 100%. Definitely a bug.

I opened a support ticket right after I did my post. Have not heard a response from QNAP yet.
You won’t hear back from them over the weekend. Wait until Monday.
Thanks for the report! This does appear to be a bug, and our internal team has been able to reproduce the issue. We’ll work on fixing this display issue.

I have installed MultimediaConsole_2.10.4_20260619_5_x86_64.qpkg into my NAS. Behavior changed. There was running “reclustering faces” and I kept run it for a week or so and it did milions of perecent. Now it says “updating” and there is a limited number but it is stopped even after reboot. (May by new photos after previous update.) Now it does not consume processor power. Screenshots for your information:
I do have some backup of QMagie data so I will try to revert to it, but as the volume is about one TB zipped it will take time.

I have installed MultimediaConsole_2.10.4_20260623_9_x86_64.qpkg on my actual NAS.
And:
It looks good to me. Adding new photos works. Endless scanning is over. And this version of facial recognition recognizes much better than the previous one.(don’t know in which qpkg it resides).
