The reset button in the back of TS-673A nas is not working. Not 3s or 15s pressing.
It has resetted name of the nas, but not user/password etc.
During initial start, i entered otger user than admin and i suspect it is trying to reset admin user, which does not exist. As i remember when entering my account, it said in UI that admin account disabled or something.
It is a new 673 and no need to think about the data.
SO, how start from the beginng with TS-673?
Couple of complainmets for that device:
- M2 plastics mechanics to attach the the drive are really “stupid”. it is a blue plastic “tooth” trying to lock the drive. Screws are screws and they are really locking drives right. The nice looking blue thing is not firm.
- adding so-dimms. i was able to bend the normal locking thing broken. That has never happened when adding so-dimms to laptops, but in this qnap thing is snapped really easily. SO BEWARE that!!
