Failed to upgrade SSD cache...

At my new job I inherited a QNAP TS-853A NAS. In QuLog, it is constantly showing the following error:

Error 2024-12-19 16:50:27 — — localhost — Storage & Snapshots Cache Acceleration [Storage Manager] Failed to upgrade SSD cache. Unexpected errors occurred. Contact QNAP support for assistance.

The QNAP doesn’t have any SSD drives, and there aren’t any SSD cache drives configured. How do I get rid of this error?

German QNAP Forum:

Sadly the users never came back to report what happened and if/how QNAP support handled it.

Thanks for the info. I opened a ticket with support to see what they say. I’ll report back on what I find out.
