One thing that has caused a level of frustration for some time is that the Help Desk remote support passwords that get generated do not respect the password complexity policies on the NAS. This creates problems for QNAP support personal as the password they try to log in with will not be accepted.
For example, I require numbers in my passwords. Some passwords that Help Desk generates, do not have numbers. Well, that’s a problem.
So the feature request is to please change Help Desk so that when passwords are generated they respect the policy on the NAS. Either that -make them super complex and include upper and lower case, numbers and special characters and be over 10 characters long. That might be even better.
