Found in another forum, user mentions filestation 6 is available for beta download but even when enabling join qnap beta in the app store it does not show up. Any ideas?

I suppose you mentioned this: QNAP - File Station 6 Beta | Forum des NAS : Synology, Qnap, Asustor...

the author of the post says “I don’t know when File Station 6 will be released on the beta program, but it shouldn’t be long now!”.

If you’ve activated the beta program in the App Center, you’ll have to wait for QNAP to release it now.

It is not available for my TS-673A in the app center. Beta apps is ticked.

Is there a place to make suggestions? I like the new look, but have the same issue I did in v5. Can we get an EXTRA large icons view? Running on 4k monitors, they are still quite small.

When I go to open File Station 6, it keeps cycling between the loading screen and a blank screen.

I have uninstalled and re-installed with no luck.

I will go back to 5 for the moment.

Can someone tell us when we can receive beta2? It’s hard to imagine that no new beta has been released for more than two months.

its harder to imagine QNAP only released it for QTS and not QuTS Hero as well.

I was running FileStation 6 on Hero. It’s there…

I have FS 6 beta 1 in the App Center in QuTS hero and I use it without any problems.

had to download this from the web. it would not show up in App center on my TS-673A at all. Beta signup was ticked.

  • Scroll mode is now also available when viewing snapshot data.
  • Improved the display quality and loading performance of document and multimedia thumbnails.

  • File Station 6 now correctly displays search results when searching by Owner/Group.
  • Fixed minor UI issues that occurred in certain browsers when File Station 6 was accessed remotely through Helpdesk.
  • Double-clicking a .txt file now correctly opens the file in the system’s text editor.
  • Improved security when accessing files in File Station 6 via URLs.
  • Keyword searches are now case-insensitive by default.
  • When opening documents in the Office Online app, the Office Online language setting will now match the system language setting of your QNAP device.
  • When opening MKV videos on ARM-based devices, File Station 6 now always plays the video correctly and does not trigger excessive CPU usage.
  • Single folders in File Station 6 are now downloaded by browsers as .zip archive files.

Im finding this version improved quite a bit. Full controls on ext USB now and much faster navigating.

Why I can t install it on my TVS-H874 with Quts h5.3.1.3292? It don’t appear in App Center and manual apk install got an error

Are you sure you downloaded an apk? QNAP apps normally are qpkg’s
