Google Coral mini PCIe M.2 Accelerator installations

I have a QNAP 453Be NAS and I’m considering buying the Coral M.2 TPU, do I need to also order an: M.2 expansion card to install the TPU?

I would guess so or purchase the USB Coral TPU variant.

There is a Type-C version of the Coral accelerator card on 453Be’s compatibility list, it is compatible with USB2.0 but inferencing speed should be slower.

It was a bit tricky, but I finally found the specs for the NAS :slight_smile: and it clearly states that you need a PCIe expansion card to connect the M.2 Accelerator.

I am going for the USB version.
