Why can’t the “Media Receivers” in QNAP’s Media Streaming Add-on detect “Google TV”?
I have already placed Google TV on the same subnet as the QNAP NAS.
I have never used these QNAP streaming addons, but they sound like DLNA, is there a DLNA client installed on your google TV?
Depending on your (unknown) NAS model, Plex or jellyfin servers would be a far superior solution.
The Media Receivers is a list of DLNA Media Renderer, we will adjust the wording to avoid misunderstanding.
Google TV defaults to Chromecast functionality instead of DLNA Renderer, please try to DLNA related applications on Google TV like Plex.
