HBS 3 Hybrid Backup Sync 26.0.0.594 2025/07/16
[New Features]
- Users can now back up WORM shared folders.
[Enhancements]
-
Users can now directly back up and sync files in HDP repositories without extra operations (such as detaching and reattaching the repository).
-
Added execution status data for backup and restore jobs.
-
Added a mechanism that prevents data loss in case of database corruption.
-
Restore jobs can now continue running until they finish regardless of how many files are skipped in the process.
-
Added an infotip in “Services > Time Machine” to explain the username format for connecting your Mac to the NAS when the NAS is joined to an AD domain.
-
Improved the integrity of ACLs for non-shared folders in local backup and restore jobs by ensuring the ACL of the source folder, along with those of its subfolders, are also transferred.
[Fixed Issues]
-
Resolved minor filter issues to improve application stability.
-
Fixed an issue where active sync jobs from a Synology NAS via rsync would get stuck at 100% when there was a large number of source files.
-
Fixed an issue where running a data integrity check on a backup job incorrectly triggered a “Found damaged files at destination” error after modifying file timestamps.
-
Fixed an issue where remote RTRR two-way sync jobs would fail when handling a large number of files from both the source and the destination.
-
Fixed an issue where local backup jobs with Smart Versioning enabled would incorrectly show a warning during execution.
-
Fixed an issue where under certain circumstances, one-way real-time sync jobs to the cloud would display a “Failed to upload file/folder” error.
-
Fixed an issue where enabling “Auto-backup” on a local sync job to an external device caused the job to fail after multiple runs.
[Known issue]
- Limitations of WORM folders in sync jobs: Because WORM folders are immutable, we do not recommend using them for synchronization. If a user selects a WORM folder as the destination for a sync job, the job may fail.
