Have not seen it, but would be a great Feature. Please create a way to Import and Export Jobs with all Settings in HBS3.
For Example i could Export Jobs and recreate them at another NAS with the Import Function …
Thanks !

Yes, or at least save the jobs for a specific NAS. I think it would be impossible to import jobs to a different NAS because the origin or destinations would be different with different passwords, IP’s, ports, file structure, etc. However, saving the jobs for a specific NAS would be great. I have 161 jobs between 7 NAS’s. I keep a spreadsheet of all jobs by NAS in case I have to reconstruct a NAS’s jobs. One time, HBS quit working on a NAS, and I had to delete HBS on that NAS to get it working again. Fortunately, that NAS only had 11 jobs and with the spreadsheet, it only took a little over an hour to manually re-add them back. One of my NAS’s has 100+ jobs. I would cry.
Thanks for your suggestion! I’ll pass this feature request along to our internal team for evaluation.
This feature/functionality is of paramount importance for HBS3. Because when migrating a NAS to another, all HBS jobs and job-configuration currently are lost.
Ideally it would be possible to select a checkbox “Backup HBS job configurations” when backing-up the firmware-settings in “Control Panels”
This is a really good point. I just looked and I don’t think there’s a way to export the job information from HBS. I like your idea!
To add to this, all QNAP apps should backup any settings or configuration as part of a system backup, ideally as an option list, but otherwise all by default. Or, at a minimum, provide the function within the app.
Agree 100%!
And while we are adding on - let’s get the ability to do bare metal backups and restores…
