help me to understand qfile pro

Hi all,

I have installed qfile pro on a google pixel 8. App is completely set up, and connected with my TS-253D by myqnapcloud. It worked ( uploaded taken pictures from the pixel to the NAS) until 03-12 (december thirth). After a FW update, and reboot, the automatic upload fails on me.

App is active on the backgrund, and automatic uploading is enabled in the app.

Status: Completed

Last upload: 2025-12-03 11:13 ( before the reboot of my phone.

Not a single taken picture is sent to the NAS by qfile pro.

What do i overlook?

Try logging out in QFile Pro and then log back in. See if that fixes things.

I have reinstalled the app, and now it works again.

It clearly does not survive a reboot of the phone.

In my experience phone apps frequently restrict permissions that stop functions like auto upload. The problem is exacerbated by OS updates and automated permission changes.

I am having similar problems on 2 android phones that started around the same time. Must be a bug in an update.

I have no issues with QFile Pro surviving reboots of my iPhone. Sometimes though it does take a delete and reinstall to get things working right. I’ve seen that happen with multiple apps…
