How can I set up Open Notebook on QNAP and access it remotely?

Open Notebook is currently set up on my TS-253B, but I can only access it from my local network. I can’t access it remotely from an external network. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Well, this is what you want. You don’t want to be able to access your NAS from outside your local network without using a VPN or QNAPs MyQNAPCloud service. It’s exceptionally dangerous from a security standpoint.

Set up a VPN on your router and then you will be able to access your notebook.
