Greetings… I have a TS-451 NAS and have been keeping up with regular firmware updates as they are released. Sometime during the last couple of updates Qboost no longer AutoStart. I have to manually launch it. Is there a simple way to get it to automatically auto-launch? If this is only possible via SSH then I will need VERY detailed instructions as to how to get this done. I have only done this once in the past with help from the folks a QNAP and they were very detailed on how the get the task done. I can get into the system via Putty but am lost with commands and navigation in the system. Any help would be greatly appreciated… Thank you in advance.
I’v never found QBoost that effiecient tbh. I removed it years ago.
I’m not sure how well this application works or saves memory when linux is pretty effecient anyway - see link below:

There are two documents on the knowledge base for how to run/optimise it and add a schedule to crontab.
https://wiki.qnap.com/wiki/Add_items_to_crontab
hope that helps.

Thank you very much for the reply Simon. I am still not sure that I can safely modify the system without messing something up. lol
then dont do anything. tbh qboost is not the end of the world if it is running or not.
I agree. Thanks for the input.
